When I went to college, I used to work at Starbucks. I'm pretty sure during the 2-3 years I worked there, I ate approximately 85 lemon pound cakes. This candle, topped with floral bits and a dried lemon slice, is dedicated to the 25 pounds of weight that was gained from all those yummy cakes--except instead of gaining weight, you gain precious memories. What do these mean?
- Top Note - This is the initial impression the fragrance oil makes when you first smell a candle or remove the lid. It is the most volatile, meaning it will evaporate the quickest.
- Middle Note - The middle note is the “heart” of the fragrance. It can take 10 to 20 minutes for the middle notes to fully develop. When you are burning a candle, the middle notes are the most prominent.
- Base Note - also called the “Dry Down”- The base notes are what give a candle lasting qualities. It is the scent that lingers even after the candle is extinguished.
WARNING:
- To prevent fire and serious injury burn candle within sight. Keep away from drafts and vibrations. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire.
BURNING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Trim wick 1/4 inch before lighting. Keep candle free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings. Only burn the candle on a level, fire resistant surface. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
